Day out of Time - Yellow Cosmic Star

Set Time free to spin and spiral as it will.

I am tired of trying to confine Time in charts and lines, boxes and tiny jewelled cages strapped to the wrist's pulsing artery. It stunts the intuition, impairs telepathy, inhibits life's flow. My belly knows suppertime, my eyelids know bedtime, my body recognizes the passage of sun and moon and my blood feels the slosh of the tides. Time to leave is when I feel called to be elsewhere. When it is time to stay put it is time to be here.

I won't let nostalgia's poison leach into my present, won't try to duplicate the moment that was, won't try to clone snowflakes. I burn my moldy mental photographs. All that was, IS -- every loving moment still beats strong and hard and sweet more supple and alive than the cold quartz that jerks those spindly hands round and round in their cage; I could crush that machinery under my heel. But each moment is alive and will still echo back and forth resonating and intensifying eternally.

I release the future to unfold its mystery and guard its secrets as it will. Scrape my skin and a fine dust of cells flakes up and floats away, death is coming for this body moment by moment at a constant rate, as surely and constantly as it comes for my lovers and my leaders and my children unborn. Fretting is futile, it just extends the suffering, and why, when there is so much dancing to be done! Time is the petty bureaucrat of fear, and fear is all there is, standing in the way of love.

It IS time. The time is NOW. What will happen, is all happening, now. So let us free ourselves from the tyranny of time, receive each clear moment as a gift from God and refract it back in red and indigo and gold, to light up the dark corners where petty Time cowers -- to light him up, and set him FREE.
